Wednesday, November 29, 2023 in HEBRON Before Wednesday night reached midnight, a sizable contingent of Israeli soldiers broke into the Hebron residence of Palestinian prisoner Maryam Salhab. Salhab is due to be released later this evening as part of the Gaza-true swap agreement.
According to a family member of the detainee, Israeli forces attacked the area around the home in Hebron and conducted extensive searches while launching a lot of stun grenades.
In October, Israeli police carried out a widespread detention campaign against Palestinians, arresting Salhab. She will be released later tonight, making her the sixth Palestinian captive released under the terms of the Gaza truce.
