There are now 16 aircraft in total that the UAE has sent, with five more arriving with supplies for an Emirati field hospital in the Gaza Strip.
The equipment needed to assist with building the field hospital will be gathered and transported into Gaza after the planes, which took off on Wednesday, are unloaded in Al-Arish, Egypt.
The UAE’s Gallant Knight 3 humanitarian mission includes the aid aircraft.
Six aircraft were dispatched by the UAE on Monday, and five more last week.
After a month of fighting, President Sheikh Mohamed ordered the construction of the hospital as the number of casualties kept rising.
There will be 150 beds in the phased establishment of the UAE field hospital in Gaza
